Which is Better?

This year, my parents verified they were still  in debt of $85,000  in student loans after paying $50,000  over the past 20 years.

It is estimated that it will take them another.....
30 years to pay off the rest  which, right now, seems nearly impossible in this present economy

As this year comes to a close, the total estimated student debt in the U.S.  has reached well over

  1 trillion dollars!

In my opinion,  the cost of education has become ridiculously high, despite societies' views on continuing education, as well as, the financial benefits of completing college. But many people are finding themselves

~worse off ~

after completing college versus if they would have never attended in the first place.

In recent years, there has been a major alternative to traditional colleges; online schools. Online education is much more economical in this costly society.

For instance, a Bachelors degree in Psychology from Bakers Online College cost under $27,000 for a 120 credit program, whereas, the same program cost over $56,000 at Georgia Tech.

Online schools also offer flexibility

and lack of stress

since you complete assignments on your own time in the comfort of your home or business, without the............. commotion............. of a traditional college classroom.

Many people agree that you won't receive the "traditional school feel" if you decide to take online classes, but with the recent campus shootings and relentless crime students endure on campus grounds, why would you risk your life just to obtain a degree you could also obtain online

Online schools are becoming more and more popular, especially to

low-income families or those who are

 building on degrees

they already possess. So depending on your financial status, online schools may just be the better alternative.
